THE SNARLY BAGGAGE SCREENER
I heard Zig tell the story once of him going through airport security. He noticed that the security personnel that was going to attend to him was not in the best of moods. In his kind and gentle demeanor Zig attempted to spark up some small talk with security personnel by saying : "Good day isn't it?"
The baggage screener responded with a snarl and asked Zig : "Compared to what?"
To which Zig replied in staple fatherly fashion which he was known for with : "Compared to the man that doesn't have a job."
I don't know if the baggage screener gleaned any wisdom from that short exchange, but what I was able to extract was that we ought to always be thankful for all of God's blessings in our lives, such as a job that allows us to be productive members of society and able providers of our own lives and family.
Our Favorite Attitude should be Grattitude. - Zig Ziglar
