Is Your Chair Is Killing You?
The latest medical studies say YES! You’ve probably heard by now of the many articles and studies of how sitting for long periods of time is detrimental to your health…….and not just detrimental! Some studies, if not all of them, go on to say that sitting down can kill you. Which is just as bad as detrimental or Worse!! Anyway, This is definitely the kind of “Bad News” that you want to remain standing for! So, on list of things that are bad for your health and that can possibly kill you can, go right ahead and add to the top of the list – That’s’ Right! Your Chair!The truth of the matter is that 99% of us spend the majority of our day sitting on our four point of contact. For years the experts and conventional wisdom have been telling you that if you eat sensibly, if you don’t drink alcohol or smoke, if you exercise, you will lower the risk of developing diabetes, heart disease, obesity, cancer so on and so forth. Well you can throw that out the window because it turns out that sitting down for long periods of the day is just as bad of a health risk as is smoking three packs of Marlboro Cigarettes on a daily basis and 30 minutes of exercise a day will do very little if anything for you if you sit on your duff all day.
